ABOUT US

Lowell Summer Music Series is a self-sustaining nonprofit dedicated to enriching the community by presenting world-class live music in a beautiful, historic setting. For 35 years, we've brought top-tier performers to Boarding House Park, nestled in Lowell National Historical Park.

Operated by the Lowell Festival Foundation, we rely entirely on ticket sales and donations to make these experiences possible. In addition, we proudly present Free Fun For Kids—our weekday morning series of free music and shows for families—as well as the annual Banjo & Fiddle Contest, a free celebration of traditional music held each fall.

Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the show, or opt for Premium Seating in the first two rows by the stage. Located at 40 French Street, Lowell, MA.

Free Fun For Kids happens Wednesdays and Thursdays in July and August! Enjoy free events with music, fun, and performances in the park for all ages.

Join us for our Banjo and Fiddle Contest on September 6, 2025 —an annual tradition like no other! This free event welcomes contestants and traditional music fans alike.
