Opening Act: Grey Season

Dan Aykroyd, Judy Belushi and Musical Director Paul Shaffer present The Official Blues Brothers Review. This live concert show combines the comedy and hits from the original movie and pays homage to Chicago's rich history of blues, gospel, and soul music. Hear all of The Blues Brothers classics such as "Soul Man", "Rubber Biscuit", "Sweet Home Chicago", "Rawhide" and Gimme Some Lovin'". Jake, Elwood and the band hit the right balance of humor, music and mayhem. Upbeat and uplifting, The Official Blues Brothers Revue is fun for all ages. Featuring Wayne Catania as Jake and Kieron Lafferty as Elwood.

Wayne Catania ("Joliet" Jake) is an established and respected musician, actor and creative writer with a career spanning four decades. In the late 1970's, Wayne's resemblance to the late, great John Belushi opened the door to showcasing his own formidable acting and musical talents onstage and onscreen. As a character actor, he was cast in numerous feature films, television shows, and international advertising campaigns. Wayne's charismatic and animated physical style was instrumental in forming a persona that complimented his achievements on the live music stage. Over the past fifteen years, Wayne Catania has been the face and personality of the immortal Jake Blues, touring the continental US and Canada with the Official Blues Brothers Revue. Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Wayne has recently worked with Kieron, Judy Belushi Pisano and Anne Beatts (Saturday Night Live, Square Pegs) to write the pilot for a TV show based on the further adventures of Jake & Elwood Blues.

Kieron Lafferty (Elwood Blues) Originally from Toronto, Canada, Kieron was influenced by the great acts that played at his father's nightclub, The Electric Circus. Legends like Sam & Dave, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and The Doors were the wellspring of his youth. Following the footsteps of his mentors, he began a career as a musician, playing in the Toronto blues/rock circuit where he gained a solid reputation for his soulful vocals and melodic harmonica lines. In the 1990s, Kieron focused on songwriting and released several CDs. As an actor, Kieron has had roles in a number of films including "Synchronicity," a rockumentary by Bob Connolly. He and brother Sean wrote the music and the songs for the film and subsequent CD Signs in the Sky. He was cast in the A&E docudrama Lost in Las Vegas and wrote the film score. Those sessions, with the help of Eric Schenkman (Spin Doctors), evolved into a CD of eclectic blues called Boomtown.

Venturing into musical theatre in 1998, Kieron joined the cast of the award winning Las Vegas show "Legends in Concert" as Elwood Blues. The Blues Brothers act evolved beyond the Las Vegas show rooms and together with his stage partner Wayne Catania (Jake) they starred in the Blues Brothers Revival, a musical written by Victor Pisano and staged in Chicago in 2004. Since that time, their Blues Brothers act has toured extensively across the US, Canada and Australia, most recently with The Official Blues Brothers Revue produced by Judy Belushi Pisano and Dan Aykroyd, with Musical Director Paul Shaffer. In addition to his stage work, Kieron also puts his extremely versatile vocal ability to work in commercials, narration and animation.

Opening Act: Grey Season

Grey Season is a 5 piece folk-rock band based out of Boston, MA. The members met in 2011 and began crafting their music by busking on the streets of Boston and Cambridge, learning how to please and cultivate an audience in the process.

Their debut EP "Troilus" was released in May 2013, and since then they have performed at a variety of venues throughout the Northeast: from radio stations, basements, pop-up markets, and conventions to galleries, bars, colleges and concert venues. Recently, they appeared as a spotlight artist at one of the secret shows organized by the Boston branch of Sofar Sounds, an organization that showcases emerging independent artists from around the world. The band is also a regular act at concerts presented by the Murdock Manor, a local booking and production agency.

In January 2014, after a successfully funded Kickstarter campaign, Grey Season recorded their first full-length LP with Grammy-winning engineer Justin Guip and Boston Music Award Producer-of-the-Year Benny Grotto in Levon Helm Studios. The album, Time Will Tell you Well, was released on April 26th and can be streamed on their bandcamp site.
